He did, returned it to the 11, also had an overturned fumble recovery TD against the bears in 05.

I guess it is easier to remember guys who do stuff on offense. I can think of plenty of huge playoff games for Smith.

Outstanding plays by a DE don't get highlighted as often as outstanding catches by WRs. That's why some people might get the illusion that Peppers never came up big in big time games. That's obviously insane. Any defensive end who can get that many sacks and block seven kicks has a huge impact. Let's not keep lying to ourselves about how valuable Peppers really is.

He did not do much against Arizona. I was just wondering if he had done a lot in the past that I could not remember.

Nobody did much against AZ. The opportunity wasn't there.
Value and production are two things separately, though.

Delhomme gave very little room for anyone to have a strong individual performance

Mark Jones had a pretty strong game, although he had a ton of chances.

before the ravens tagged Suggs I was hoping that they could be talked into trading a 1st, a conditional pick next year, and Troy Smith for peppers.

anyone have any idea of a decent QB prospect that could be acquired in a similar trade???
