I don't think they have the cap room, besides they're sitting on big contracts to Gholston, Pace, and Thomas.

Cap room is a good point. I don't think their current personnel would restrict anything.

We're swung spring trades with NYJ for the past 2 seasons. Seem to be a good partner. But I didn't think about the cap room issue.

The Chiefs have a TON of money and a strong desire to improve. I also heard they were switching to a 3-4, but I doubt they part with their 1st and they really don't have anything to trade IMO, unless we would want Dorsey, who really doesnt fit a 3-4 very well.

Tons of endorsement money to be found by playing in NY. If he values fame and money more than winning now, Jets make more sense, but he has said it isn't about money.

He wants to go someplace he can win a Super Bowl sooner than later, I'd think all the losers are out. Frontrunner that he looks to be, and being desirous of the 3-4, Pats have always made the most sense to me.

The Jets really raped themselves in the face last offseason. I'm surprised the GM kept his job. Anyway, there's no way in hell they could afford Peppers. Favre's temporary retirement helped their cap situation, but they would still need to cut/restructure a lot of guys to get far enough under the cap to bring him in.

    Mario Williams.

Speaking of being over the cap... if we're gonna franchise tag him and sign Gross, do we have to get under the cap by this afternoon or can it wait?
