    6 years, I thought. The $22 million I would expect, but I'd also expect there to be a 2nd part of that bonus (as in, not $22 mil this year). This would make it like Gamble's contract, but slightly richer. Which is about what I expected.

    Expecting $14 mil of it this year ($8 mil next year), and a 2 mil base salary would give a $4.3 mil first year cap hit. That's about what I'd figure it to be.

    We'd still have to make a move or two to get under the cap to include a Peppers tag, but we'd have another 8 days to worry about that.

    He hasn't actually signed anything. Haywood's numbers are a new thing; I assume Collin's are simply what's been rumored already.

    Where'd I say 6 years? I was going off Harwood's post that said 7 years.
