At least Haynes worth did it during a game to a guy on the other team rather than a teammate in a film room or on the sidelines at practice.

I like the shades of gray argument about who was worse.

    true.

It is, of course, tough to pass judgement on a guy who did something heinous given that we have a guy who does similarly brutal things. It's kinda that way that no one wants to be around Michael Pittman until his price falls and then it's okay he tried to run over his girlfriend.

Taking a cheap shot and hurting another football player is dirty and I do not condone it but to me it is not in the class as off the field stuff like Pittman and others have done.

I always thought he would fuck up his career by now, but Haynesworth has reformed himself and he's become an absolute monster on the field. The thought of him going to Atlanta makes my brain hurt. I would be thrilled if we could somehow get him, even if it would pretty much condemn us to starting Brayton and Johnson at the ends.

I wish we could afford him because that would instantly upgrade the center of the DL and it would also make our DE's look a lot better too. That would be huge upgrade.

Haynesworth's two best years have been last season when his rookie contract was up, and this season when he was franchised with a guaranteed shot at free agency, before that he was an underperforming first round pick. Something to keep in mind before we open up the check book.

He was pushing for the Titans to add some offensive weapons last offseason. I don't think he's a guy who just plays for money.

    he was never really underperforming

regardless, I'd be totally shocked to see him there. I wouldn't say never but it's on the tip of my tongue
