wow. Didn't really expect Sunseri to go, but maybe we needed some change there.

My choice to succeed him - Dwayne Board.

    John Marshall's also available :D

    really?
    huh. There it is, Gantt.

Really could be spelling significant change. Unlike Sunseri, I don't yet have a preferred replacement just yet, but I'll work on that tonight. I don't know if Mike Haluchak is available or not (I heard they were talking to Bryan Cox in Cleveland, where the former LB has ties to both Ryan and Mangini as an assistant), but he was on staff as LBs coach under John Fox in NYG.

That was all over the news here last night. Apparently at one time he was the DC at Fresno State. Funny thing -- the Bulldogs just happened to be in need of a DC right about now.

Linehan to Lions as OC. Hard to decide who is more desperate. Him or the Lions.

This is interesting because they have Culpepper under contract for 2009, and Linehan got a ton of credit for Dante's best years.

Wonder if that had some influence on hiring Linehan.

Very good point. Culpepper isn't the same player, but I could still see that being a productive relationship.
