    That's it, just like Shanahan getting the ax in Denver. If you win a Super Bowl you had better win another or you go. In Shanahan's case, if you win two in a row it not enough.

    yeah, hard to see Pioli hiring on a guy who would be quite so brash and divisive.

    Gruden was sub .500 with no playoff wins since 2002, in that time every other team in the division has been to conference championship.

    Morris could work out for them, but I never saw him as the rising star he suddenly became. It happens to some teams, where someone under the "problem" becomes the solution, but I generally don't like the situation.



    I'd certainly prefer they pickup Morris than pickup Shanahan and have to deal with him for the next decade.

    kinda feel the way about Gruden that I've come to feel about Fox . . . they would probably be more effective as coordinators

    Hell, pair 'em up and you might have somethin' .)
