Both Ryan and Flacco had good running games making it a lot more likely that they could succeed. The rookie QB's that suck are usually on teams where there isnt any other talent. With our current running game, just about any QB who doesnt turn the ball over should be able to succeed.

With DW breaking out like he did we do not really have to keep a guy like Stewart behind him. I am sure he would command a pretty good price in a trade. Maybe we use him to get a QB?

What happens if DW goes down with an injury? I think back to the NFCCG and Goings a few years ago...

Although I remember you being more upset with the coaching (it was pretty shitty, we DID abandon the run in the 2nd half) than necessarily Jake, per se, that day.

I am on the fence about trading Stewart. Because DW, from what I've understood from watching sports center etc. Is just a bit small for the Red Zone, same problem Brian Westbrook has inside the 20. Plus, in this day and age, in a 16 game season. You need two RB to carry the load. Everyone I've ever head with football 'expertise', has claimed having dual threats in the backfield, have a huge advantage. Especially (in Carolina's situation) when they both bring something different to the table. You have to plan for 2 RB's, and Steve Smith, makes play calling, not so fun, unless JD throws more then 10 times a game....

why have shades of gray? That makes no sense on an opinion board.
