Probably, but against that schedule I wouldn't be surprised by worse.

Get cracks at all the teams the beat us this year. It'll be interesting to see how the AFC East does next year. Can Miami keep it up?

The AFC east plays the NFC south next year (they played the NFC west and the AFC west this season). Their records ain't gonna all be like this year, imo.

One thing that is a sure thing is that the NFC South WILL have a team or two with a losing record next year.

This year, matching up against the NFC North and AFC West it's not surprising that none of us had losing records...

    No.
8 of our 12 wins in 2008 were vs. teams .500 or better.

we played 5 of the top 7 offensive teams in 2008, winning most of those games (we were 3-0 vs. the top 2 offenses in 2008.)

2008 was no cupcake. the lions/chiefs/raiders were/should have been picnics. other than that, the schedule was not too easy.

no telling next year. I see tampa, buffalo, miami and nyj declining. i see some tough ass games, but we're a tough draw too. we dominated some good fucking teams this season on the offensive side of the ball.

despite the panic, i love the team's chances in 2009. just have to pick a different day to suck next year when we get back in same spot. losing in the playoffs is a shitty thing--but i think fox has the team heading in the right direction.
