And he won't do it for the Vikings either. People seem to forget Brady and the Patriots went undefeated last year. Being that said, Jake isn't very good. Being that said, a lot of teams need a QB. I would feel sorry for the Panther fans but I'm a Redskins fan. And a Braves fan too. I might shoot myself with a dart gun for fun.

Well Fox saved his job this year going 12-4,,,,,,,,,,, after last night I just aint sure what to do with Jake. I DO think like someone on another thread mentioned, I'd like to hear the Def Coordinator's explanation on why in the hell we didn't double team Fitzgerald, especially given the fact that Bolden was out.

Fitz ran open literally all night, especially in the 1st half when the game was decided. Very bad decision on someone's part and not covering him alone may have cost us the game, despite how much Jake sucked up the place.

I'll never understand why people think Fox makes this team complacent. He's about as steady of a coach as you'd like to have.

I think he's doing the best with what he has. He has made some mistakes this year but what coach hasn't. However, if he is wanting to keep Jake here, then I change my opinion. I agree with an earlier post, I do question the defensive coordinator for Fitzgerald being open all night. Del Rio wouldn't have let that happen. On another note, Ken Lucas needs to go. I'm tired of seeing him get toasted!

Trogo, DCs have been fired for failing so miserably in big games but I doubt that will happen.

I really think you have to look at Tim Lewis pretty hard, we have a lot of talent in the secondary. There's no trust back there; no sense that they are on the same page, I am putting that on coaching.

Great point. He'll have to win back my trust as well. But like you also said, the $50M question is, "Has Jake lost the team?"

Fox isn't going anywhere. I'm not even sure if I would fire him. I'd certainly consider it, but he obviously has good qualities in addition to his bad ones. The thing that frustrates me most about his direction of this franchise is his stubbornness. He insists on a certain type of play that makes us predictable and inflexible, while he's been consistently several seasons late in making obvious personnel changes at various positions. Actually I think he is a good coach, but he would be helped tremendously by a stronger-willed GM like Parcells. I get the feeling that Hurney just rubber-stamps whatever Fox wants, which has led to some problems.
