Or rumors might be a better term

    1. I hear the ‘Skins might open the big wallets to try and acquire Carolina offensive tackle Jordan Gross when he becomes a free agent in March. They will have a ton of competition.

    2. I hear that defensive end Julius Peppers is not even close to a new deal with the Panthers and undoubtedly will be franchised, which will not sit very well with him. Mr. Peppers is planning his next move when that happens.

Peppers doesn't sound like a guy who really wants to be here next year.

After that loss I don't know that you can expect anyone to sound cheery. I get what you're saying, but I don't think you should read too much into it given the circumstances. I believe he'd prefer to stay here as long as the Panthers offer him close to whatever anyone else offers him. He's not a guy who would be looking to go to a bigger market.

I hope it's just being pissed off following the game too. But they need to get started on signing him again soon. Can't imagaine the Panthers want this to keep lingering on even longer than it has.

If Peppers doesn't want to play here , then go the fuck somewhere else.
He is over rated like Gross is. But when you compare him to what else we have he looks great.

It wouldn't surprise me to see him go eventually. I think he's a good player that we tend to misuse at times.

That is probably 100% right. The last time our Defense had real passion is when Jack Del Rio was here. Only about six people on this team show 110% passion for their team.
