Key just said he doesn't trust Jake to help the Panthers.

"Throwing hand grenades like in Green Bay? That won't work against New York."

He doesn't trust Jake, yet it was Jake delivering the ball to him in 2006 that allowed him to collect that contract buyout (was it 4M?) that he retired with.

Makes me want to see the Panthers blow the Gnats right off the field tonight.

well, that whole thing was convoluted. They're not asking him to shoulder the entire game and it's clear that what Denver did isn't going to stop us. The entire panel didn't touch our backs or our line, they barely mentioned anyone, and kinda badmouthed the whole team. This, after waiting through the broadcast from their first teaser about how big this game was, to have them talk about it for a minute thirty.

Also, Manning hasn't been good for the Giants, so to use that rationale is poor. Eli's actually not been that good at home, he's only had one above average game in the last six, I don't get using that logic when the Giants are built the same we are, have the same passing production, and are missing targets now that those stats don't reflect overall.

    well thought out.

But this thread is about rolling over Key with the bus.

Jake has a pretty good track record in pressure games.

And I watched NFL Matchup at 7 damn 30 and they did ONE Panther play, no Giants.

Nearly every analyst and ex player/analyst has said the exact same thing this past week. I see no reason to hate him for agreeing with neerly everybody else.

    yep.
Whether he can carry you isn't a big concern, you have to stop the run first and I'd have to see a team do it here recently without putting far too much manpower into it. That the first thing that comes to mind with this football team is Jake, well, I don't find that to be good analysis.

I wish they would replace Johnson with Marcellus Wiley myself. Sounds more knowledgible, speaks better and seems to have no grudges.
