If we lose our next two games and the Bucs and Falcons win
all three teams will end up with 11-5 records and 3-3 conference records.

Who wins division and playoff spots? How is tie breaker determined?

(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format).
    1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs).
    2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
    3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
    4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
    5. Strength of victory.
    6. Strength of schedule.
    7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
    8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
    9. Best net points in common games.
    10. Best net points in all games.
    11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
    12. Coin toss
It looks like we would win based on our win over Denver (tiebreaker #3)

If we lose next 2 and Atl win next 2 then Atl will win the South and Bucs will end up 2nd

We finish last in that situation. We have three losses in the conference right now vs 4 each for Tampa and Atlanta. If we drop our last two we end up with 5 conference losses. I think Tampa wins the division under that scenerio but I am not sure how, they would have an identical conference record with Atlanta.

If Dallas loses tonight we are in regardless.

The way I read the tie-break rules, you go to common games before you go to conference record.

Since NFC South played the AFC West, those games plus our division games are our common games.

We swept the AFC West, and Denver beat each of the other NFC South teams.

Therefore, we win there. No need to go to conference record.

TB beat Minnesota. Does that effect it?

New Orleans has nothing to play for. But didn't they beat us to keep us from going to playoffs a couple years back? NO REPEATS

Yes. I forgot that NFC South also played NFC North. Our loss to MN puts us down one to both TB and (if they win) Atlanta.

So we go to conference record and we're screwed.
