    are his chances of getting a donor great considering his age.. or does that not factor into it ...one heart - give it to a 72 yr old or a 27 yr old?

    For most people that would probably be a factor but given the fact that JR is very rich it might not be that way for him. I am not being critical of JR or anyone else, I would pay for a heart if I needed one too. If he gets a heart look for there to be a big donation made to a hospital or something.

    They recently kept a person alive for several month with no heart by using a machine. They then got a transplant. I think the person was much younger than JR though.

    I hope he gets the heart. He is by all accounts a good guy and has done a lot for us sports fans in this area.
