It'll be kinda fun to watch that one, and not be concerned with the Panthers for 24 hours.

I'd guess we want Dallas to lose, also. And:

    JAx over Bears
    Philly over NYG
    Balt over Wash
    Det over Minn

    Thin the herd, you know?

why do the giants matter? I'd prefer they win out until the Panthers game.

They are only 2 games ahead of us and we play them . Not going to happen but if they lose a game before we play them in 2 weeks and we win that game could be for home field throughout the playoffs.

    Yep.

Chip - if they lose, and we win out, we're #1 seed.

    Go Iggles.

Am I hypercritical or just not seeing the team others see? We started out pretty well, but between the losses and ugly wins, I don't feel especially great about them. Love 'em yes, but optimistic about their future? No. :frown:

It doesn't matter how you get to the tournament, it matters what you do when you get there

Yep. And there are no perfect teams in the NFC, if we play our A game and the opponent doesn't we can advance.

Also - next week the Bucs play IN Atlanta.

So - this week if we beat the Bucs, and the Saints beat the Falcons, next week is a battle royale in ATL, with the Pantehrs wanting ATL to win.

Ideal NFC standings in 9 days:

    NYG - 11-3
    CAR - 11-3
    TB - 9-5
    ATL - 9-5
    DAL - 9-5

I love John Fox in December.

anywhere I lay my head I'm gonna call my home
17-10 in December. And we're healthy. Which we'll need, given that this shit is gonna get tough.

There are no perfect teams but the best team in the NFL is in the NFC.
