    Not many coaches in the NFL would have done that because they have to handle a room full of egos and attitudes. Singletary is a winner and I admire what he did. Will it work ? Who knows, but it sounded good to me.

    he can't go to that well every week. Gruden did a bunch of rah rah and had abunch of young guys fearing him but the vets didn't give much of a shit after a while.

    No but he got their undivided attention, and that's what it was about. Now they know, do something dumb and you get the hook. It was an oppurtunity to send a message and who better to get the messsage than one of the teams best players.
