BYU's schedule doesn't inspire much confidence, you're right, but Utah is playing higher quality BCS opponents this season than in the past, if not quite as many. Neither Michigan or Oregon State are strong BCS teams, but they're both at least decent. It would be nice if the top non-BCS schools could arrange games against the top BCS schools, but that doesn't seem to be happening for a variety of reasons.
Northwestern, South Carolina, Colorado, Alabama, Rutgers, TAMU, Pitt, UConn, and Vanderbilt. For a few years now the ACC has produced solid teams, they've just failed miserably at producing anyone is "very good," much less "great." That's what kills them in the BCS contests and other match-ups against top teams from other conferences. The ACC is really mediocre, but they don't suck out loud like the Big East.

Not so sure about that. Big East has a 2-1 edge so far head to head. BE's best out of conference win this year is South Fla over Kansas. The ACC's is, what, State over ECU?

either one could be considered the bigger non-conference win. Of course, maryland has also lost to middle tenn. state. Plus, they lost to fucking Clemson.

The Blue Carpet Bowl just won't be the same without Boise Fucking State playing some hapless ACC school.

Boise State has played Georgia and it was a joke. Georgia yanked the starters out halfway through the third and Zebransky threw like 5 picks in one half and they got beaten to a pulp. They played the game of their lives and got lucky on top of it against Oklahoma so now everyone thinks they belong. Have you seen their schedule? It is a joke. I do not think a team who in my mind would finish 4th in the SEC west deserves a chance to go to a BCS bowl because they happened to beat Oregon who happened to have their 5th string QB in at the time and still managed to put up 32 on Boise's D. Even if Oregon was any good this year, which they aren't and they will struggle without a solid QB then they play literally no one the rest of the way in their schedule. I guess you can say Fresno State who will play anyone anywhere and lose to the big schools they play and then have some lopsided top 25 ranking because like Boise State they don't play anyone in the top 50 the entire year. I mean really, outside of the Fresno game at the end of the year (who I think is about as good as 6-6 or 7-5 if they played in a major conference) the next best team they play is Nevada. Nevada would be a bottom tier team in any major conference and that is the best team Boise State plays. I'm sorry, they don't deserve a BCS bid. I think BYU could beat a top team if they play real well cause that offense with Max Hall is nasty and the Mountain West has earned their stripes with a 5-1 record over the Pac-10and that should help them but if BYU AND Boise get in over a team that goes 11-2 out of the Big 12, SEC, or Big 10 then that is an injustice. Granted the Pac-10, ACC, and Big East are all real crappy. I can't wait for that Boise State-South Florida BCS matchup...blah...

No, he goes to UGa. They don't believe in paragraph separation down there in Athens.
