    $90 extra is highway robbery.

Of course, I say this knowing that you have to have football in HD.

So, if I had Sunday Ticket I'd have to go all the way.

$90 to get 17 weeks of games in HD is pretty fair.

Not when it already costs $250.

Why should the HD premium be an extra 33%? That's way above any HD premium except for possibly dvd -> bluray.

I don't pay 33% more on my bill to get HD cable channels (although I'd consider it to get the whole lineup in HD.)

I think that multi-channel is part of the Super Fan package, with is additional to the Ticket, but you have to have the ticket to purchase the Super Fan package... when I had the ticket, I watched that one and the one that keeps switching games... that channel rocks. The replay in 30 minutes was so fast it game me a headache.

It's not much for every game in HD. Directv and the sports packages they offer are not for everyone. They are expensive and are a luxury to have. Trying to justify the cost is stupid. You either buy it or don't, just don't bitch about it.

    so true

edit: i even went into my menu and deleted the non-HD broadcasts, once i saw they were letting us have the free HD. i'm seriously thinking about paying the $90. hell, you'd spend that much for one night out any friggin' way.

Right. Go to a sports bar for a game and you drop that anyway.

Oh, I'd definitely pay it. Won't stop me from complaining about an HD tax though.
