I liked the decision, didnt like the call. I usually like the FG there, but this team needs to come together emotionally, and I think the go for it was good.

SD had a massive run blitz. The interior of the OL was crushed, and the run would have been stuffed. Jake may have audibled out of a dive, because SD didnt hide the blitz at all.

King was running across the back of the EZ. Jake was winding up to throw to him, but King wasn't looking yet. (Why not? - he was right across the middle, at the easiest throw, and open). So Jake pulled it down, and threw to open Hoover, who dropped it. Hard catch because it was a hard, short throw.

I think the call was fine. The receivers just have to do better.

running would've been my call pre-snap, but you're right. It wouldn't have worked.

I like the idea of going for it, it's what I would've done. One thing I didn't like was Rosario stacked up in the middle as a blocker on the fake instead of in a pattern, but the fake is part of the play.

Certainly, as much as it's made that Jake's day looks worse without the game winning TD, he should've had two scores.

Run blitz or not, you should be able to get a yard. If you can't, then kick the field goal.

sell out for the run or no, I'd just as soon try the dive with our line.

It takes guts to go for it on 4th down,,,,,,, it takes bigger guts to run it up the middle on 4th down.

I agree with Collin, run blitz or not, if we can't make 1 yard, kick.

But if we are truly a good team this year, we should be able to make 1 yard.
