    no doubt

i also like the message it sends that the Panthers aren't standing pat and choosing 53 from the ones they got

Moore got some godlike status for playing average for a few games last year. His arms are too short.

I like it, plus he can play receiver, too.

    I busted out laughing. Heh.

In any case, I understand it but I'm not all that excited about it. McCown is not a good quarterback, but for a seventh round pick it's worth it.

I'm not saying Moore is godlike, but you have seen McCown throw a football, haven't you?

A seventh isn't too much to give up. I'd like to have gotten more for our 7, personally.

I'd rather not, though, and I'm gonna guess someone good will be available this week. This just takes some time off the changeover. I thought we needed a veteran, but we did well getting our youth some time.

So, one of the eleventeen billion McCowns or Huards or whatever the fuck we just traded for, is the veteran backup, and Moore learns another year, which is what I wanted to happen for him anyway. It's not "we're giving up on" anything, and I think that's a little reactionary.

We improved our team when we did this, we're more talented. I hate it for Basanez and to a minor degree Moore, but it's really still Jake or nothing. I don't know that I see McCown as the game manager, steady change of pace, just execute the offense type of guy I'd have liked to see as the vet backup.

Panthers.com is just calling it an undisclosed pick. A seventh I can live with despite the fucked up contract we eat

It's been reported as a 7th elsewhere, forget where right now (2:40 AM).
