    I kinda take it more that they weren't impressed with Moore this preseason and due to that were afraid of what would happen if Jake got hurt. Assuming the panthers didn't go with only 2 QBs this year (which was doubtful anyways) Moore may have cost Basanez his job. Then again, he is still eligible for the PS.
