    For that kind of coin, I don't feel like he's coming here to replace Basanez.

    edit: I guess he could be, in a sense. Makes me think Moore is gonna miss time though.

    I am not sure what we gave up for him so I will with hold judgment but if it was not much then it is probably a decent move. He is a veteran QB with some game experience who is happy to accept a backup role. Nothing wrong with adding a guy like that. If Baz is gone or Moore is banged up more than we know this makes a lot of sense.

    According to the strength coach, Moore isn't that bad (not bad enough for IR), but Baz is getting released or traded. Doubt he's on Carolina's PS.

    Yep. And honestly, he should replace Moore. He looked poor this preseason, and didn't give anyone confidence he could get it done if Jake went down.
