Again, we get that you're campaigning for the guy and hyping him beyond belief, but you're misrepresenting the situation when you inaccurately say that "Rosario had been elevated to first string." That's just not true at all. He got first team practice reps in mini-camp, but so did a number of players who aren't starting now. Maybe they just wanted to get more of a look at Rosario or maybe there was a different reason altogether, but trying to use mini-camp as "evidence" of someone being raised to the first team just looks like desperation. The fact is that when he has played, it has been in that complementary role I described. He looks like a pretty good young player and he should help the offense, so no one is downing him, but there's no good reason for trying to hype him as much as you have.

I told people that JT O'Sullivan could start for the niners, and they thought I was on acid.

Nice. Alex Smith is a shitty fit for the Martz offense.

He was elevated to 1st string. Not sure how I can misrepresent that. He got a lot of playing time at the end of the year, he got promoted, then hurt. These things happened.

You can try to personalize this, and you are, but it's about getting the best product on the field.

I think Alex Smith might be a shitty fit for any offense.

yet to see an offense he fits in at this level. This is within a generation of the same offense Turner ran.
