I just have a hard time imagining a guy as tall and lean as Taylor having much success at left end.

Correct. He's a playmaker and he adds a dimension that King doesn't.

He started at the Y in camp before getting hurt. He and King both started the last two games, yes. I disagree on either of us knowing what the team believes, and they picked another guy with Rosario's skill set in Barnidge, so they're not averse to that type player. Doesn't matter to me, he's a very talented player and he should be on the field when possible.

    Carter isn't exactly huge either.
In one or two of the thirty schemes he played in, I remember Taylor having a lot of success moving around, so maybe that's why I remember him having played some left end.

It's not ideal, but he's actually a pretty solid run defender due to his technical skill. He uses his hands very well and rarely lets a blocker get control of him.

Redskins were a good team last year. No idea on how they'll do against Zorn, though I'm guessing they'll decline over the long haul with some short term success; but this is a talented team we're playing. Besides that, it's preseason. I want to see us show up well, that's all I'm worried about. People made too much about losing in Philly and too much about winning a sloppy Indy game, too.

Carter isn't huge but I thought he had played some LE in Washington. Could be wrong.

Rosario had 2 starts last year, but weren't they from 2 TE sets?

    lol -

King started 16 games and Rosario 2, yes. Rosario had been elevated to first string before the injury, so we'll see what happens.

Jeff King. The Whitey can play sports hype machine. Speaking of which anyone catch that white guy with dreads on the niners the other night?
