King looked like he tipped that, but it seems like a lot of it's wet ball. Eagles are going through that too. We should be running more.

Glad Moose isn't hurt. Funny seeing him, after being woozy (on a very unnecessary hit), talking to Jake who reassures him then slaps him on the back of the head (!). Then of course we put his neck back out there by calling a 0 route that went nowhere next posession. I like the idea of that play in certain circumstances and anything that gets us yards on 1st down, but that wasn't a 1st down IIRC.

Colclough is on this team, undoubtedly. We've got him playing good ball against starting guys. Marshall is being too aggressive, and if that comes back to bite him as a starter, we'll see him lose some of his effectiveness when he has to back off.

Jackson looks good for them. Curtis can usually catch, but I'm surprised he hasn't blown up with them so far.

He's having trouble with the wet ball I think. Even the completions are knucklers. The pick was a terrible throw, King was open. Just slipped out of his hand.

McNabb throws a stronger and prettier ball, even in the rain, but he had some headscratchers. That last deep one to Curtis was into quad coverage.

they did what short passing, big-lineman wco teams need to do against guys like Peppers. Double the shit out of them on deeper passes. Either way, he does look more active. The "additional strength" thing hasn't helped him bullrushing, but getting a bullrush down is essentially a setup move for a guy like him anyway.

Our guys are jumping offsides way too much.

Since King came up, he really doesn't look that bad out there. He's been good so far, so hopefully there's some individual growth and some RAC in his future. He's been blocking OK so that's something we didn't see much before either. Rosario's still the better player IMO, but being on the field is kinda critical.

he's suited, but with the wetness he might not go. I thought I saw goings out there already so he may not.

O line isn't as physical against a bigger line. I was hoping to see them bust some holes open. Gross needs to get his shit together jumping offsides twice in a damn row.

I think the piss poor bliz pick up and the wet ball were the reasons behind the pick. Jake saw it coming and tried to get rid of it. Not a great throw but not many will be with a mfer in your face.

I won't mind seeing Jake get more work next week though, still does have a little rust. Of course at this rate one of us may be lined up at WR.

He did, but he had to leap to do it and it was intended for him. Jake felt the pressure and unfortunately he dropped his elbow to throw sidearm, causing the bail to sail.

I've noted before that even baseball pitchers coming back from Tommy John will take six months or so to get back their accuracy after the twelve month rehabilitation. Jake hasn't even reached twelve months yet, so it's not surprising that he's having severe problems with accuracy. I'm just hoping that he overcomes it quickly, but I'm not particularly hopeful. The first half of the season we'll need to run the ball effectively in order to score points.

Good for Wesley. Gives him a nice preseason memory to finish his career.

As for Rosario, he's really not a tight end. He's more of an H-back. When we do put him on the line it's usually left side in a two TE.

Someone got buried on that Booker run.

Nice pick Wesley. Didn't see the deflection, just looked like a ball thrown behind a reciever.
