I'm gonna have to find a some sort of super facepalm pic to explain everything that's wrong with this statement.

Scott was going to be good run depth. I'm not writing him completely off, but at best he's probably four weeks. I really doubt we get back news better than that, and am expecting worse.
We could probably find another vet big guy for the rotation, but it's still a hit.

I didn't like it when they signed him tbh.

From what I've seen in my 3 trips down so far (it's a 30 minute ride for me), it's not clear domination like some reports are wording it. Otah wins quite a few when run blocking but Brayton has had his share when working pass blocking.

Pass rush is the only area we did not address in the offseason. One of the top pass rushers in the league was available. Seems to make sense to me.

Jason Taylor was not available to be signed. He wasn't available until the Skins gave them 2 picks.

Not everybody will agree that we needed to give up a 2nd, 6th, and 16.5 million in salary to a 34 yo DE. Where were you thinking we were going to get the cap space to absorb that salary anyway?

His salary for '08 is $ 8 million. That's what we would have needed. That would have been a lot of work for Hurney to get a piece from everybody on your list.:cuda:

Am I the only one not terribly upset about our #4 DT getting hurt?
