Did anyone else hear Jason Peter on the Jim Rome radio show yesterday?

He was on for almost 50 minutes and he was very upfront. Sounds like he really has things in order now. He admitted that he is the only one that can be responsible for where he's been...the last couple articles and interviews I had seen, he was pointing the finger at anyone but himself.
He commented something to the effect, that rehab all to often helps people direct blame to others when the only one to blame is the addict.
It was a great interview, probably the best I have heard Rome do...certainly the longest.

Thoughts from those who heard it???

I didn't hear it but he was on one of the local shows last week and was a good interview. Said that AA/NA just didn't work for him but that it had value for some people battling addiction. He did point the finger at himself for his problems and seemed to understand where his problems were rooted.

I'm still not buying the book. It's just not something I care to read about.

Yeah, I doubt I will be reading it either. It was just really cool to hear him finally own it after all those years of playing the blame game.

I never heard much of the blame game, but i lived the last five years in New Jersey and you didn't hear much about him there.

He was on local in Charlotte the other week. I bought the book but haven't started it yet. A respectable writer and critic called his book amazing. Something about it being what Hunter S. Thompson would have written if he was an athlete and not a sports writer.

Yeah I saw that review, I'm going to check out his book as well.

I heard him last week on WFNZ mornings (two fucking sports talk radio stations, neither carrying the best sports talk radio program, they can fuck themselves gimme Rome damnit)

He's a great interview and apparently he has a radio program in Nebraska now talking about Husker football. I heard him on Rome a couple of years ago and he was amazing.
