Top Gun 2

Top Gun has some serious gay moments when you watch it these days but it still has its cool moments (basically all the actual top gunning). Goose was the one dude that actually made it great to watch. Unfortunately they killed the funny fucker off.

They could probably get most of the cast back for next to nothing these days too.

But a woman top gun pilot (obvious love interest), that just makes me cringe. Not that women dont fly but ugh, more PC BS. Just give us an action packed ride with some cheap laughs. I dont need to sit through another uncomfortable Kelly McGillis "im taking another shower rather than fuck your brains out" scene. Speaking of, god that girl went downhill faster than a fat kid on rollerskates. Seems Katie is trying to follow suit.

 

So the movie is gay but when they try and put more women in it makes it worse??????

Also Women have been flying combat missions for a while now, so it probably won't be a PC thing- but I could see them setting it earlier in time to make that angle work.

Im not saying dont put women in it and im well aware of the role women play in the armed services. Just dont turn into something like Stealth with the 3 pilots, one black, one white, one female.

 

I don't get it - why do people give a rats ass what actors do in their personal lives? I guess I can understand women caring, but not guys. Let them do what the fuck they want. I doubt I'd go see a Top Gun 2, not because I didn't like Tom Cruise, I just don't think the movie will be that good to go spend 20 bucks on. I'll get it on Netflix whenever or if it ever comes out. I really don't go to see a movie just because some actor or even actress is in it, unless I think it looks really good. I do think the 1st one was pretty good, but not so much that I think the sequel would be better. If it gets raves when it comes out, which is doubtful, I might go see it.

And yeah, Katie Holmes is a dog, at least in that pic.

 

Stealth is riddled with problems well beyond casting, but I get what you're saying.
