    Probably. I'm guessing Otah stays at RT and they move Wharton back out to LT. They've got one of the youngsters to backfill the G depth.

    Panthers sign LB Connor, DE Taylor

    CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker)—The Carolina Panthers signed third-round pick linebacker Dan Connor on Thursday along with defensive end Hilee Taylor, the team’s seventh-round choice.

    Connor played in 45 games - 39 starts - during his four years at Penn State, becoming the school’s all-time leader in tackles with 419. He also had 14 sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and four interceptions.

    The 6-2, 230-pound linebacker won the Bednarik Award—given to the nation’s top defensive player - after recording 145 tackles during his senior year.

    Taylor had 103 tackles, 19 sacks, eight forced fumbles and one fumble recovery while seeing action at both linebacker and defensive end for North Carolina. He started all 12 games as a senior in 2007 and led the team with 10.5 sacks.

    So what's with Schwartz? His 7th round cohorts have been signed and the other picks too aside from our top three. Is there any chance he's attempting to get more money despite his extremely low draft status? I know he's an OT and they typically demand top dollar on the OL, but there hasn't been ANY talk of him being close. Usually the blogs get wind of any imminent signings and in his case there hasn't been a peep.

    maybe he's away on vacation and will sign the paper once he returns. It could be anything. Its not really a big deal that he's not signed yet

    I not sweating it and I know 7th round picks don't hold out, merely wondering why all our picks around him have signed and he hasn't yet. I guess the vacation rational is a good enough reason. I just thought since his signing is a "formality" that it would be done already, that's all.
