    Would he accept a backup role? Even then part of me says no, because I don't want everyone screaming for Jake's head damn near immediately after the slightest off game. Bad mess for the locker room.

    I hope some NFL player knocks over a bank or murders a DEA agent or gets caught fucking a transvestite so we can quit hearing about this 'Brett Favre maybe sort of he has the itch to comeback story'

    What I like about this rumor is that it's very logical, and has plenty of substance behind it. It makes so much sense that Favre would force the Packers to release him so he could come to Carolina, who already has a starter and back-up, and play in a different offense.
