Flyers All-Star defenseman Kimmo Timonen will likely miss the Eastern Conference finals against the Pittsburgh Penguins because of a blood clot in his left ankle.

Malkin and Crosby have to be salavating.

thankfully, the game was on Versus (no weather alert interruptions). Pray for clear skies when the games shift to NBC.

Oh god, I'd be so pissed (this is playoff hockey Chip) . I had to tape it tonight and just got done watching. I taped the postgame and bull riding just in case it went into overtime. Lucky I did, there were 11 minutes left in the 3rd when the original game tapping cut off.

How about that Crosby goal that was waved off. It was very close, but you could see part of the puck sticking out from under the glove, but you couldn't see the goal line. How about if Biron had slid the glove into the net another foot? Would they say not enough evidence because you couldn't actually see any space between the puck and the goal line because his glove is in the way? Do they take into account that the puck is 3" in diameter, and if it's 4 inches from the goal line it must be a goal?

it was a goal--when Biron finally corralled it, it was well past the line. Video may have been inconclusive, but common sense woudl tell you that puck was in the net.

The NHL was under the assumption that the puck was 8.5" long I guess, what a fucking joke.

Philly down their top 2 backliners...sounds like Buffalo-Light (compared to the Sabres run vs. Carolina couple years ago.)
