Williams faced stiff competition in the competetive SEC, and is widely regarded as one of the best left tackle prospects in this year's draft class. Some experts believe Williams can sustain a long-term, pro-bowl caliber career at left tackle.

Long, of course, would be a key cog in an improved running game, but was less than stellar against edge rushers in 2007.

That said, when I eat an apple, I like to suck the juice out of each bite, and put the leftovers back in the crisper drawer, in the fridge.

1 career sack in the SEC? I'd say chances are pretty good he can play well in the NFL.

I think Clady will be gone before we pick from everything I've read about the draft. Williams seems like a good choice at 13. Much as I would like to have Mendenhall the lines have to get some love in this draft.

I disagree. Albert is a solid guard, but his arms are way too short to play tackle, and he's not agile enough, either.

probably, in regards to Clady. I don't think he's that much better than the two behind him, but it seems fairly likely that it happen. Of course, it's possible both he and Williams are there, or that both are gone. If there's a run on DE and both DT go, I have no reason to believe that at least one OT won't last. Four DL, two OT, a QB, a RB (maybe two) is 8 picks by themselves. I can't remember a draft where at least one DB and WR didn't go top 12.

and, if both Clady and Williams do go, I'm not against Cherilus. But, I don't have him rated 2nd round like some oddly do.

agree. Also his height might be a solid addition at OT, but at guard I worry about his leverage.

If that's true, then why have several teams approached him about playing LT in the NFL? From everything I've read and heard, it's his versatility and athleticism that makes him such a good prospect in the first place. I'm definitely not alone in the opinion that he could possibly be the best O-lineman in this draft, or at least right up there with Long and Clady.
