McKillop is a fine coach and classy guy. Curry has a sweet stroke and is an all-around solid college basketball player. Davidson has a good team and should be congratulated. Some of the spite and jealousy being shown on the ninernation.net board is embarrassing.

Is it OK if I use 'FREAKING', you know, to protect our on-the-job members?

While the Davidson upset is nice...blah blah....(and i say all this b/c it partially fooked my bracket)...

The fact that Davidson was given a 10 seed and allowed to play in Raleigh was a fucking travesty.

The "home" team Gonzaga has to travel 3000 miles to play a higher seed yet feel as if they are playing on the home floor of the 10 seed. That is complete bullshit.

Georgetown im sure felt the same way.

I understand the Pod system, but it should not benefit a team that had it not won the SoCon tourney would not even have gotten a bid.

Lets also look at the fact that the 7 vs 10 that region was Gonzaga vs Davidson

7 vs 10 in the East was Butler vs S Alabama

7 vs 10 in the South was Miami vs St Marys

7 vs 10 in the West was WVU vs Ariz.

in 1 7 vs 10 you have Big East vs Pac 10

then you have an ACC team in the South

the other match ups are Non BCS conferences......

yup Davidson deserved a higher seed. They played Duke, UNC, and UCLA all very close. They were ranked 23 in the polls, which in general should equal around a 5-6 seed. Yet they got ranked 10.

While I don't really care where they got seeded, merely playing Duke, UNC, and UCLA close should have no impact as they lost every one of those games. Since when does the committee reward a team just for playing other teams close?
