So far so good. Watching the game on CBSSportsline and the buffering is killing me. UNC has 4 players with 7 or more points with 8 minutes to go and a two to 1 rebounding advantage. Lawson sounds like his ankle is almost 100%

I don't know how Arkansas beat Tennessee in the SEC tourney (even though Tennessee has struggled this tournament). Arkansas looked like crap against Georgia and look terrible now. I think UNC will play Louisville in the Elite 8 I hope they keep it on the Mississippi State-Memphis game. This UNC game is over with and it's the last 7 minutes of a close game with a #1 seed

    ESPN says

The Cougars were the trendy pick to challenge UCLA for the Pac-10 title at the beginning of the season. They looked the part in beating Gonzaga on the road in early December. They won a gritty game over Baylor on the road. But the reality of a soft nonconference schedule caught up to the fragile Cougars.

Washington State coach Tony Bennett said from day one that the margin of error for the Cougars was thin. Clearly, that was the case as the Cougars had a great shot to stay in the chase for second place but blew three of four home games in the middle of the Pac-10 season. Part of the problem has been Daven Harmeling's inconsistencies while he battled an ankle injury and Aron Baynes also failed to be much more of a dominant player in the post. Sure, Derrick Low had his up and down moments, but the perimeter wasn't the issue. The Cougars needed more out of their shooting forward and their center. Washington State was always going to go into scoring lulls and when it occurred, even at home, the Cougars appeared to be extremely vulnerable.

WSU goes into the NCAAs as a tough team to figure. The Cougs can handle late-game situations with their experience and will defend but they will still have times when scoring will become a chore and if it does that will likely be an exit from the Dance.

    This sound encouraging

    Washington State

    Nickname: Cougars. Location: Pullman, Wash.
    Record: 24-8, 11-7. Bid: Pac-10 at-large.
NCAA history: 4-5 in five appearances. Last: 2007, lost to Vanderbilt in second round.
Coach: Tony Bennett, 1-1 in one appearance.

Overview: The Cougars seem like a team that could ride a favorable seed into the Sweet 16, or they could come out cold and shoot themselves in the foot in the first round. It's a gifted, perimeter-oriented team, with guard Derrick Low, Taylor Rochestie and Kyle Weaver capable of heroics from the perimeter. But the Cougars are vulnerable on the front line, where beefy center Aron Baynes has trouble staying out of foul trouble and there isn't much depth behind him. When the Cougars are hitting from the arc, however, they are a handful. And while not a particularly athletic team on defense, Weaver is a tremendous lock down one-on-one defender. Also, there isn't much this team hasn't seen. Low and Weaver are seniors. Bottom line? Cougs were a solid third-place team but were 0-5 against UCLA and Stanford.
