I totally agree with this analysis. In most of the previous tournaments, Coack K has gone in and adjusted to a less talented team at halftime if it was close and Duke would end up winning by 15-20 points. They have the talent to do that now, where are the fucking substitutions? Get fucking Zoubek inside, and tell him to dunk it and get fouled, not hold it over the basket so it can be blocked from behind. Foul some people in the post if you have to on the defensive end trying to contest shots, don't let the starters get the fouls. Taylor Hayes was shooting lights out in the first half of the season from 3 point range and then quit. Why? Because he isn't getting the minutes anymore.What's up with that? Nolan Smith is a great jump shooter and can hit 3's, why doesn't he play more??. Pocius isn't a giant scoring threat but he plays hard and causes turnovers with defense. Paulus needs to shoot more 3's and just shoot more period but most of the time he's a split second too late and gets a hand in his face.

Duke's got a ton of talent. Nelson needs to show more leadership and pull the team together if Coach K can't do it. The 3 point shot attempt is killing them.

All that being said, I am confident they will play a better game on Saturday. If they don't, see ya next year.

Pocius got hurt real early in the season is done for the year. Smith should play more, and now when he's in the game they have Scheyer playing the point and taking the ball up the floor. I don't get that at all. Watch next time Smith goes in for Paulus he plays off the ball. King should play more even if his defense isn't that great. Duke is going to die from fatigue. They could barely walk up the court Thursday night. It was pissing me off to not even see them hustle back on defense and their big men got beat constantly by not getting back on defense. With that said, I think Belmont watched the N.C. State-Duke tapes because Lowe usually plays Duke real great and spreads the court constantly, and Belmont played their offense like State does against Duke. Oh, and Zoubek will never dunk a basketball in traffic. I don't understand it. YOU ARE 7-2!!! You barely have to jump! I've seen him dunk before (when no one is around). When he gets a dish in the lane if the driver splits the D, he lays it up off the backboard. I mean, my god how soft can he possibly be.
