    I'd be OK with that.

I guess there's worse things than Rucker being back, too. I'd rather have an end in the draft that can rush, but there's a lot of people out there that don't believe in that.

Chris Canty, it will cost a 1st round but he's proven unlike a rookie. and shane Olivia the LT that got relased by the chargers, or tom ashworth of seattle. Gray the Qb from Jax. and then a TE like Wiggins or jolley because i can't stand Christain Furiua or how ever u spell it.

The main thing that makes draft picks so valuable is the fact that you get to sign the player to a deal that is much cheaper than the one a veteran would get. Unless you are drafting near the top of the first round those guys are going to play cheap. When they are finished with their rookie deals they cash in, assuming they can play. When you talk about trading a #1 for a guy like Canty remember that you are basically signing a free agent and drafting a player at the same time. It costs you twice as much.

I would just as soon add a pass rusher in the draft. I do not see one who is available that would be an upgrade on Rucker or McClover and Johnson.

Cheaper doesn't mean better...and if you want to win now with carolinas superbowl window closeing you'd better get some guys that can play now. because peppers and smith, and delhomme arn't getting any younger. and fox and hurney shouldn't risk there job on hoping they can find players in the draft to fill this teams huge hole @ OT and DE.. if they sign some of those guys now to fill our needs now they can draft eventual replacements for our top players for the future... like when some guys hit the FA market because Davis and Gamble and Beason marshall at some point will test the market I bet and leave if the ship is sinking.

he's also not very good. And, it's not as if we need that first rounder or anything to take care of needs.

Carolina has the best WR in the game when we have a QB. we did have a great D-Line and and Lucas and gamble were decent but we have marshall now, it all starts up front and we got a good pass rush like before and big play out of our RB'S why couldn't we go all the way? Carolina with Beason Davis and johnson now is one of the best LB's corps in the league. fuck the giants did it? good run game, pass rush= championship.. and some big plays by a WR every now and then.

You can not build a winning team by trading away your draft picks. If it worked like that then the Redskins would have all the trophies instead of the Pats.

Think about this too. If teams are reluctant to give up a number one pick for Peppers what does that say about Canty's value?

The panthers arn't going to shop peppers the panthers have already said that wasn't rue, and so did the agent. , and your only giving up 1 pick. say we draft harvey or some shit with the 13th pick he ends up sucking, i would rather have a big powerfuoll rusher like canty that's only 24years old to. or say we pick OT Clady with the first pick and robert gallerey's it, i would rather sign Shane Olivia a guy who is only 24 years old and blocked for the best RB in the league. and the redskins traded away picks for underachivers like Adam Archuleta. Canty is better than that.
