    Excellent young player and we didnt overpay for him!!!

    You're right ... most of the defensive players (including Beason) think dropping their shoulder into them is what tackling is all about. Maybe this guy will be a great examplefor them.

    Johnsons contract details

    Charles Chandler, of the Charlotte Observer, reports Carolina Panthers LB Landon Johnson signed a three-year, $10 million deal with a $3 million signing bonus. He will count $1.7 million against the salary cap this year. That will come from a $1 million proration on the bonus, a $605,00 base salary and a $100,000 workout bonus.

    I can live with these numbers

    LB's have been going for cheap though. Look at what Lance Briggs got compared to his former, less proven teamate Bernard Berrian. Or Javon Walker.
