Interesting signing. Not sure why we signed him to be honest. Is he that big of an upgrade over Diggs? Our team just loves to collect LB's. I bet we even draft another one.
Reed's blog mentions something about moving Thomas Davis back to safety which is one of the worst ideas I've heard.
Good player just interesting we sign a LB of all things.

They really need to leave Davis where he is. It is kind of surprising that they did this and brought back Diggs but depth is good.

What makes this a great signing, is the fact that Johnson can play all three LBer positions...that's something we lost when they let Draft leave. Seward was our next best back up LBer, and he's probably gone too. So, they are actually filling a pretty big need...now we won't be screwed if one of our starting LBers gets hurt and misses a few games, whether Johnson ends up starting or not. I like it.

well, we've got a ton of backups, so I can't see us doing it, but hell, 7th rounders don't make the squad usually anyway.
He's a good upgrade over Diggs in theory certainly - he's out tackled him and he's 100% healthy, where Diggs always misses some time.

    that's awful.
