Where are all you guys playing Wharton? cause Fox said he's playing him at LG and until I see something different we need an OT.

He said he's leaning toward moving him. He doesn't have to.

If we go RB, we're putting blocking or rushing the passer as a second day need. You're comfortable with that?

"Though nothing is set, Fox said he's leaning toward moving Wharton from left tackle to left guard and adding another tackle via free agency or the draft"

I see LT as the biggest need. They want to move Wharton to LG. They didn't come to an agreement with Gross which means they didn't want to pay him what he thought he was worth. I wouldn't be shocked to see them let him go next year and get his replacement later in this same draft or in next years draft. We can get an elite tackle at 13. DE we have options. Johnson was a 3rd round pick last year and I think he can start. We still have Stanley. We have bodies to fill the position. We dont' really have the at LT if they want to move Wharton. Unless a guy drops that isn't supposed to I find it hard to believe they won't target a tackle.

Fox can coach up a defense. Our run game has not been too good since Davis left and our O-lines been in flux since then too.

Due to the depth at OT in this draft (more so than either DT or DE, wouldn't it be prudent to draft a DE in the first and come back and get a OT in rd 2

I'm on the assumption that the move to LG is in part because of the stellar tackle class. It's possible we draft a guard in the 2nd or 3rd, of course. I don't see the purpose of drafting a tackle after 2, though.

I want the best LT we can get! I wouldn't reach for a guy if the top 3 are gone (Long,Clady,Williams IMHO) and probably be ok with Otah as well

Not if you want a day one starter at LT. IMO that depth means we can get an elite guy and that more of the good ones will go in the first round. I don't think it really works that there will be more good tackles in the later rounds.
