Not sure that this deal makes a lot of sense but I guess there is no guarantee he or Wesley will make it through training camp.

I just don't understand that kind of money for a castway. Did someone at the Browns sell Davidson some good BS?

    Free Safety??

    Scouts, Inc. analysis....
Comment: After being drafted out of a very small football program, Colclough has struggled to acclimate to the NFL and has battled some injuries which have also slowed his progress. He does have upside however, as he is very athletic with good speed and size. Colclough also has return abilities, although he has troubles judging punts and can be a liability in this regard, but is good with the ball in his hands. He is a good cover man on special teams and shows toughness as a run defender and in all facets of special teams. In coverage, he is a very fluid athlete who displays abrupt hip turn and fine closing speed. He is a powerful tackler and has reliable hands and ball skills for a cornerback when playing the ball in the air. Colcloughs'recognition skills have improved, but he still gets burned more than he should and can be a bit slow with his route diagnosis. He is prone to biting on double moves. He is also too much of a risk taker, but he is capable of coming up with the big play. He will miss some tackles because he ducks his head and doesnt keep his eyes on his target. Colclough has a chance to become a very good player, but the clock is ticking on his career and he must step up and assert himself or risk being left behind.

I'm going to politely withhold judgement until I know what the signing bonus is.

I would like to ask one question that has not been addressed in this thread.

"Who the hell is Ricardo Colclough?"

BTW...I'm glad Moose is back, but even if he doesn't work out, don't fret. I have an uncle who works in the prison system, and he tells me he may be able to get Rae Carruth out on weekends. This is a good thing, since we probably won't get any Monday night games in which Rae would be unable to play.
