Seven million a year with $20 million guaranteed? Not worth it.

You could see the Jenkins trade as one step closer to Cowher

If Fox and Hurney are going to go down in flames then they should do it with the guys they want on the team.

I think Yas is right on the money. I think a lot of fans have little problem with the reality in the NFL. 9 of 10 times a deal is ton people scream about how overpaid it is. Overpaid is the business of the NFL. The price goes up so fast every year that it messes with one's senses.

What, nobody here thinks John Fox has a stubborn streak. That he hangs on to players he should have cut 2 years ago. Goes right along with his severe conservative streak. He's like the fun version of Tom Coughlin before Caughlin learned to loosen up.

Jenkins was easily out best Defensive lineman last year and might be the best defensive player we had if you take away Beason. I think Yas is right. The Panthers were not a great fit for him.

No, he can probably just say things that before would have gotten him on bad terms with the Panthers organization. Kind of a knowing what side of the bread your butter is on. He's no longer dependent on Charlotte for his butter.

It seems to me that Buckner was more outspoken than Jenkins ever was, so I don't know where he gets this robot shit. From what I understand, Jenkins wanted out more than Fox wanted him gone anyway.

Just saying that this trade makes us a worse team than before, IMO.
