    Oh yeah, who could forget that monster year of 2006 when he finished 13th in the league in passer rating. That followed up that Pro Bowl year in 2005 when he finished 12th in the league in QB ratings.

    Who else was going to go? Kyle Orton? Maybe Aaron Brooks, the one who started over Delhomme in New Orleans. Or we could have gone with that gunslinger Joey Harrington. Man, the choices they had in 2005. Him making the pro bowl had nothing to do with this receiver they had named Steve Smith did it? Na, couldn't have been.

    Now that I look at it, Delhomme is regressing. He is getting worse year by year. Up until that top 3 in passer rating in 2007. Man, the year that could have been.

    I'm just messing around. I just happen to like Flacco and think he has a good future in the NFL. I think Anderson has a good future too, but obviously you don't believe that, and that's ok. We'll see how it all turns out, who knows what might happen?

    He's too mechanical and he can't make all the throws. Great deep ball, but timing routes and intermediate routes aren't his bag.

    These things are awful. Wow. I don't know how I can stomach a QB that only finishes top 13.


    Brooks isn't even in the same conference. Is it supposed to be a dig that Brooks, handpicked for the job, beat out Delhomme, a walk-on that everyone ended up wanting to start before he came here and led us to the playoffs?
    If so, well, burn!



    I think Anderson's a starter in this league and took a lot of heat for it, though it seems to be a reasonable suggestion. I just don't think we should pay him what he's going to get, or spend the picks to trade to get him.

    Sure, he was average in 2006, but he had a new OC in 2007. His production over the first three weeks would seem to indicate he was a much better QB in Davidson's system. Maybe. I guess we'll find out more this year.
