Why? most of us don't support Delhomme? I don't believe that to be the case. But, I think we broke down pretty quickly a good while back that you're not.

You 'broke down' that I don't think Jake is that good??

I'd say when I said I think Jake is mediocre at best, pretty well broke it down for you. But nice detective work anyway.

yep. Every year you gripe he's here. He looked really mediocre with that 3rd highest QB rating before he went out.

After week 3. Where did he finish in 2007, when he finished a whole season? 16th. So, back to my original statement, he's average. Not great, not terrible. For the free agents we have available this season, I'd stick with him and rather go with the draft to get a young guy like Flacco. But I respect your opinion about Delhomme. Someone else mentioned Woodson. I prefer Flacco, but I wouldn't be disappointed with Woodson. But the original point was I would not trade up to get a Brohm Ryan or any of those "top tier" QBs.

Edit: I'd actually prefer to go after Derek Anderson if he doesn't sign with Cleveland (if he hasn't already).

Oh, yeah...sorry...he would have been the 3rd best QB in the league if he'd stayed healthy. Maybe even moved up to 2nd best!

He'll make his regular bonehead throws this season, and it'll be somebody else's fault...or his elbow, we'll go 7-9 and we'll be having this same conversation next year. If we win another post season game with Jake as QB.... I'll eat my shoe.

You think he's one of the best, I don't...let's just leave it alone. It's boring.

All we need is an all-star TE and one of the better offensive lines in the league and Anderson would be a perfect fit- Y R U h8in?
