Also, you have a 7 game difference for Peppers from 90 games I listed to your 97. I find it hard to imagine he had a 137 tackles in those 7 games.

I checked the Panthers site and they aren't even close to other sites, so again, you may want to check your resources whether you add in post season or not.

Tard, do you actually read? I told you the site is wrong and actually show conflicting information on their own site.

    http://www.panthers.com/Team/PlayerBio.aspx?id=8218

Wrong stats on your site - check out 2007 and compare to
http://www.nfl.com/teams/carolinapanthers/statistics?team=CAR for the panthers where they reference another site for peppers

    http://www.nfl.com/players/juliuspeppers/profile?id=PEP422041

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/stats?playerId=3530

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/players/5888/index.html

So either your source is WRONG or they count tackles differently than the rest of the known world, but seeing how they link team stats straight to NFL.com I am guessing they have the wrong stats listed on their own website.

Hey, I am as big a Peppers fan you will find, but I try to be honest in how I see him. Some areas of the game Peppers is better, but also in some areas where he isn't as good as Freeney.

I know Freeney has been used primarily as a pass rusher where Peppers has been dropped into coverage more, which is why I think Peppers has a lot more tackles, PD and Int than Freeney. Freeney of course has had a little better sack production and forced fumbles because of how he is used.

To be honest both players have sucked recently. I do hope for Peppers it was just a bad year and he will bounce back from whatever caused his bad year.

Mono will do that to your production i guess  but yeah if pep was used as a pass rusher all the time and didn't drop into coverage he would blow freeny up in sacks, also freeny has mathis on the other side and the offense is so good the deffense is rested unlike ours.

Mono has been speculation from what I know, unless something has come out lately that I am not aware of, but I haven't been keeping up on things the past few months as much.

I was certainly confused about Peppers' season, but I also don't think he was as "horrible" as some imply. No he wasn't the "old Pep" by any means, but he still made plays. I'd say he was maybe an average DE. Sure you expect him being well above average, but I still have a gut feeling he will be back to his former self this year.

Pep came out and said It wasn't true but something is wrong. I think he loves the orgainzation he seems that way since he restructures his contracts and things like that so i don't think he is mad or doesn't want to play here, but I think the big names leaving and retiring took alot of fight out of the :sign0113: squad.
