    I don't know of a better option, for us.

    We're intimately familiar with him - Delhomme, the players, the coaches, everybody but Davidson.

    Even with HORRIBLE qb's, he was reasonably productive. It's my opinion that he's good for 70 catches. He hasn't had a good QB since jake, and with Jake they lit it the fuck up - he was unstoppable.

    He's cheap as balls.

    WE HAVE NOBODY. We have Smitty and 2 young guys who were BOTH beneath Colbert and Carter on the depth chart.

    It seems like the no brainer of all no brainers.

    Hell - maybe there's something on film. Maybe he became sucky. That's fine. If he did, pass. I don't call him sucky b/c of his stats on that offense, though. He's not LArry Fitzgerald, but he's alot like Key.

    And as far as dumping Key to let our young guys have a shot - we did and they failed.

    It would be the steal if he caught 60.

    Hell - he'd be an improvement for us if he just caught 40 again - which is more than any wide receiver other than Smitty for 2007.

    The 2 that caught 32 and 25 are GONE.
