    What reasoning have you used?

I'm not saying Carter is equal to or better than Moose, but it's pretty obvious that Moose is nowhere near the '04 version. And if you think about it, our system kinda sucks too, so it's not like he's going from the outhouse to the penthouse.

    Um, yep.

When our new system begins to pay dividends, we can have a better read on these situations.

Moose is upgrading from a Ford Tempo to a Ford Taurus at this point.

I don't believe our system sucks. It wasn't run well last year, but certainly better than theirs.

Reasoning doesn't have to involve the random throwing out of statistics you don't necessarily stand behind. Muhammad's 2007 isn't indicative. Guys don't average almost 15 yards/catch because they suddenly slow way down.

    Delhomme < Hall of Fame
Delhomme > Grossman, Orton, Griese, etc.

    Delhomme+Smith+Moose > Delhomme+Smith+No Moose

Former Carolina Panther receiver Muhsin Muhammad, a free agent after being released by the Chicago Bears, would prefer to return to Charlotte, his agent said Sunday evening. "Carolina, that's where he wants to be," said agent Joel Segal. "They're one of a few teams I'm talking to, but I would say that's correct, he would prefer to play there."
Muhammad, a longtime Panther before signing with the Bears after a 93-reception, 16-touchdown 2004 season, will be 35 during the coming season. But he is the prototypical big, possession receiver that Carolina has been looking for to relieve the pressure on wideout Steve Smith, who has been routinely double-covered since Muhammad's departure. Muhammad is also an excellent blocker, which would boost the team's running game.
Asked about discussions with the Panthers, Segal said, "We're having real good discussions with them."
Did that mean the two sides were negotiating a deal?
    "We're discussing," Segal said.
Segal also said those discussions had been taking place with Carolina general manager Marty Hurney and salary cap expert Rob Rogers.
"I've been in touch with them on and off," he said. "We haven't talked today."
Hurney, at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, had not yet been reached for comment.

The system is only as good as it's run. Otherwise, it's shit.

Hopefully, we don't start 4 QB's next year, and don't absolutely suck at LG/RG.

Certainly would help. And, no more 3rd-and-1 sweeps.

When we executed, things worked. Pretty much the same as with Henning.
