I really just don't see the difference between 2 and 3 over 3 years. 3 is modest starting money for a guy who, let's be honest, isn't going to only be catching 40 balls.

Eh...fair enough. It's an extra mil. I see around 1.5, incentives....Moose said he doesnt mind the role, as long as its specific as to what it is.

I see incentives involved---I would imagine he comes in between 1.5 and 2, competing for the job.

If we give him 3, it seems we should just hand him the starting spot.

He's old, but he's not dirt old. Worst case scenario, he's a vet who knows the QB, buddy with Smitty, and knows the overall system (although Davisdon is new to him).

At 1.5 mil, it's a fucking heist.

But I agree with you that the positives are there to signing him.

 

It's still interesting that him and Carter had identical years, even though Carter wasn't a starter, and was surrounded by an even bigger QB clusterfuck.
