    1.5 a year is exactly what I was thinking. 3 a year seemed absurd to me.

    This seems fair, and I can get on board with this. It'll be nice for Moose to have a QB again, assuming Delhomme is starting.

    Or he wasnt worth more. Hes 34, coming off average seasons, and got cut when he wasnt due much more than 1.5.

    Theres no way anyone pays him 3 mil a season. No way.

    To get a decent number 2 for that kind of coin wuld be sweet. Even if he doesn't come in and help it doesn't cost the Panthers much. I would like to think the lack of QB play in Chicago hurt his production. Maybe with a healthy Jake...

    Cooler still - it would allow him to retire a panther.
