    Keyshawn was coming off of a few 70-80 catch years....

    Moose should be less than $3 Million per, I think.

    Moose > Keshawn by far, imo. He blocks as well or better too.

    Key wasn`t catching passes from the Bears` qbs. He would never have sniffed 70 there.

    Key was signed here two years ago. The market has went up since then. Two year deal is not going to kill us anyway. It is funny how some of y'all fret over whether Moose gets 1.5 or 3 million a year but are willing to pay Peppers ten million a year for the next eight years even though he sucked monkey balls last season. Deals like the one Moose would get are not what get you in cap trouble. It is deals like Peppers and Gross are close to getting that can sink you. There would be little if any dead money in Moose so we could cut him like we did Keyshawn if he is washed up. If we give a multi year deal with a big signing bonus to Bryant Johnson or Bernard Berrian then we are screwed if they do not pan out.

    Moose appears to be the decline for the last few years (Chicago QBs are a factor in that) Pep had one bad season after many good ones.

    Or overpaying for Flozell Adams.

    Certainly it would be a risk to sign Adams. It is a risk to sign Gross too. Either one of them is going to give you pretty solid play though. Adams is better than Gross though.
