King will be a very good pass catcher. As good as Crumpler, with the upside of being young. Crumpler is good after the catch, but he's getting older. I just don't see how Crumpler really helps us that much.

The talk ever since Moose left is we needed another Moose. A good, big, possession type receiver. With Jeff Davidson wanted to use the TE a lot more it seems Moose would be a great signing with the possibility of Jarrett being good still a real possibility. Add in Crumpler, who I assume to be healthy if we do sign him, and there is no way we're not a lot better than last year.

Smith, an old Moose, Crumper is a lot better than Smith, Colbert/Carter, King. All three of that first set can be a weapon. Moose is also going to help our run game. Someone else mentioned that Moose has gotten nastier while in Chi-town. Good, the Panthers desperately need some of that. Sign him to a 2 or 3 year reasonable deal.

 

You just hate him because he took Moose's number.
