    seems ideal to me. Upgrade, short term; adds to O, adds a threat. He's a solid enough blocker who worked in a run oriented O. King is cheap and a good role player, as is Rosario, to compliment. Add a posession type WR for long term and you have the options you need.

    And Davidson gets the TE threat he wants.
    And, certainly, it's pending his knee.

    If he is healthy I take him. He is one of the better tight ends in the league, IMHO. I image a healthy Jake would get the ball to him a lot. We might get by without adding an expensive wideout should we sign him.

    at his age, I don't know if he can demand top dollar for a TE, but even then, franchise cost for top 5 TEs is $4.522 million. it'd be hard to get anyone to sign him for much more than $5 mil.

    Pending the knee this could be a huge upgrade for our O and it's a lot better than most 2nd WR's out there. He is 30 but could still have some tread having only played in the league 7 years.
